Kalbarri - Port Gregory - Pinnacles - Perth
We started early for the coastal cliffs...

Bushes
Then stopped at Port Gregory for the Pink Lake. Yes. The lake is indeed pink in color. Little gal was telling me that the town people are very nice. They must have knew that she was coming and did a pink lake for her. Its her fav color : )
From Port Gregory, we travelled to Northampton, then stop at Geraldton again for lunch.
After lunch we continued the journey, passing by the leaning trees at Greenough, the most haunted house in Western Australia. Seaside towns of Dongara - Port Denison, Jurien Bay, Green Head and Leeman.
The most haunted house in Western Australia (it was closed in Feb)
The leaning trees of Greenough
Finally, we reached Pinnacles in the evening...
Pinnacles Desert, where thousands of limestone pillars are scattered across a moonlike landscape on a golden desert floor.
More kangeroo on the road
Sunset against the Emu Downs Wind Farm
We headed back to Perth to stop for the night. The Comfort Inn was fully booked, the kind lady in the motel next to it (which was also fully booked) recommended The Flag Motel. We managed to get a room there.
