Daddy drove directly to Penang with a stop for lunch and then to Julius's house in Prai. Then directly into Penang.
We check into Royal Penang Hotel then drove around Bukit Ferinnggi.
Little gal enjoyed making foot prints...
Dinner was at Gurney Drive.
The next day, first we went to Snake Temple...
Little gal was as usual, afraid of the snakes. But little guy love it! When the foto guy offered him the white python, he was smitten. Then they put the snake on his neck, for a RM15 foto shot (which we decline). He wasn't afraid. All the children will scream when the man came over, so he said "Don't be afraid! See! Ah Boy (Ah Wei) is not afraid!" : )
Next we went to Ji Lei Temple, we drove to the top as it was impossible for Mother to climb up the stairs...
It ended with a heavy rain. We drove around the city looking for lunch and ended up eating Chuy Tiao Soup . Then we search for the Chendol. It was OMG! Lots of people surrounding that stall until we can't even see the sign.
When the rain stopped, we went to Butterfly Farm
Nite time, we have dinner at a local Coffee shop. The food there was much better than Gurney...
Ww left Penang the next day, but there was a massive jam in the bridge, there was a patch where it was burnt with smoke coming out and lots of water with foam. We saw in the news that night that it was the cables on fire...
